Question about Warhammer FRPG and Warhammer 40000 Rpg?
Does anybody know who exactly writes the qoutes for these games and also the qoutes for the novels? Is there a specific person who does all of them or just individuals who have donated their works?
The rules were originally written by a team working for Black Industries, an imprint of BL Publishing, a subsidiary of Games Workshop Group PLC. However, Black Industries was wound up in 2008 and the licence to develop the game was sold to Fantasy Flight Games, a US RPG and boardgames specialist.
Since then, FFG has built upon the original material produced by Lindsey Priestley and the other original authors with new adventures and expansions. The new spin-off 40k RPG, Rogue Trader, is based on initial work by the Black Industries team.
One of the best things about both FFG and BI before it is their openness to outside input. Opportunities to get involved are few and far between, but they freely borrow from the best fan-produced material.
Go to the FFG forums to find out more about how you could contribute.
